I’ve been so fortunate to experience these precious moments with your children over the past two years. As many of you know, I will be moving on from the Manvel Public School after the final bell rings. Our final day of school is planned for Wednesday, May 23rd.Īs we each anticipate this busy month, let’s remind ourselves to take time and re-discover the many moments which brought joy and grace into our lives this year. Our 4th and 8th grade tour the Minto Museum and our 8th grade graduates that Tuesday evening. Our final week of school is also a very busy time at MPS. The Middle School spring concert is showcased on week three. We close the 2nd week with our Preschool Round-Up and Sumo War 2018. Our Spring Concert fills our hearts with music as the 6th grade soars to great heights on the UND Flight Day field trip. Our teachers celebrate our second week with a National Teacher Appreciation Week. We celebrate those who have given back to our school at the Honor’s Breakfast while we welcome our incoming Kindergarteners with a Round-Up in the first week. We have so much to look forward to in this month of May. Imagine how many “Aha” moments which took place during their academic career at MPS? That is what makes our profession so special and rewarding. Over the course of one week, our students found a level of maturity and self-discovery, which assists in the culmination of an inspirational experience in education. Speaking of a great activity, our 8th grade class has recently returned from their annual Wolf Ridge Trip to Minnesota. As we step forward into the final 17 days of the 2017-18 school year, we’re preparing for the great activities yet to come.
